So several of us will be there. Hooray! I'll be arriving the Hyatt on Sunday afternoon, just down the road from the Westin.
Here's to hoping the paintouts don't get smoked out. Those Canadian wildfires must be intense!
See you soon (and thanks for all the tips),
Yes I'm going! I went to Santa Fe PACE last year. It was great.
I will be there as a volunteer. This is my third time of attending and first time as a volunteer. I am the Western Slope PAAC paintout coordinator and would love to meetup with other Colorado painters.
I'm going and can't wait! I've also been waiting since 2020 when it was first cancelled. Zoom filled in a lot of painting workshops since then, but I am excited to be among fellow artists in person for the first time in forever!!! So happy I can drive and not have to limit what I bring!! This could be dangerous if I shop too much at the expo. Really looking forward to it. And also happy to be bussed to the various paint out locations, especially RMNP.
Hi Laura! I'm going. It's a lot of fun - I'm sure you'll enjoy it! I like to highlight the artists on the agenda that I want to see most, so I don't miss them. I take a backpack with a note pad and pen, water, and snacks. Sometimes it's hard to take time out to eat. I visit the Expo early, and buy what I want before they're sold out. For the paint-outs - sometimes I paint, and sometimes I just walk around and watch other artists. I take a few pictures to refresh my memory later, but mostly try to soak it all in. There are so many ways to paint - love to see all the different approaches. Hope to see you there!
I will be there as a volunteer throughout the convention, I live a few minutes from the convention site. I attended in 2016.
Hi, I will be attending and it's my first time. My mentor, Michael Orwick is one of the teachers this year. LMK if you want to meet up somewhere and say hi.
I just saw your post. I will be there! You will have a blast. So much to do, so little time. I will be volunteering so keep an eye out for me. But you will love it.
Hi all --
I wasn't able to make it in 2020 because it was cancelled, but am now planning on attending this year. Hooray! Anyone else going? It'll be my first PACE rodeo, so I'd love to hear any tips on how to get the most out of it. :)
