Tuesday, September 5 - HAS Demonstration Garden. 9:00 am-12:00 222 Mesa Road, Colo. Spgs. Paint flower garden, Monument Creek, or go half a block north on Mesa and paint the Heritage Garden, the Van Briggle building, or the pond. (It has water in it now.)
Thursday, September 7 - Garden of the Gods. 9:00 am -12:00 Go to the main entrance on 30th Street by the traffic circle. Turn right into the GOG park. Go right at the first stop sign. That is Juniper Loop. Drive to the first parking lot you come to. Restrooms available.
EVENING PAINT OUT - Friday, September 8 - Garden of the Gods. 3:30 pm - 6:00 Go to the main entrance on 30th Street by the traffic circle. Turn right into the park. Go right at the first stop sign. That is Juniper Loop. Drive to the first parking lot you come to. Maybe we'll get a nice evening colors! Restrooms available.
Tuesday, September 12 - Xeriscape Demonstration Garden on the Mesa. 9:00am am-12:00. 2855 Mesa Road, Colo. Spgs. (This is up on the mesa, not by Monument Valley Park.). Check out native plant gardens in the front of the building and in the back. Restrooms available.
Thursday, September 14- Heller Center. 9:00-12:00 1250 North Campus Heights. Paint view of the mountains, Eagle Rock, adobe buildings, bluffs, etc. No bathroom available.
Tuesday, September 19 - Rock Ledge Ranch. 9:00 am-12:00 Park near Chambers Way and Pike on the southern entrance to Rock Ledge. Paint the historic buildings, pond, farm animals, and the mountains. Bathrooms available.
Thursday, September 21 - Asian Heritage Garden. 9:00 am-12:00 1821 South Cheyenne Road. Paint lily pond and lots of water lilies, beautiful old will trees, and last time sweet peas were growing in a nearby field.
Tuesday, September 26 - Catamount Institute. 9:00-12:00 pm 740 West Caramillo. This used to be called Beidelman Center. Park by the building. There's a trail and small creek. I'm not certain if bathrooms are available to the public
Thursday, September 28 - Glen Eyrie. 9:00-12:00 pm 3820 North 30th Street. When you drive through the front gate, tell the gatekeeper that you are with the painting group. Park by the carriage house. Restrooms (and coffee) available in the carriage house.
