Biography
Ginger Bowen
Ginger always wanted to be an artist. She was in her early thirties before she was able to obtain any serious art education and has since continued her quest for excellence.
Ms. Bowen’s work has been featured from Maui, Hawaii to New York, including a still life invitational show of 12 artists at Spartanburg Art Museum in 2012. Ginger is published in three art books; “Plein Air New Mexico”, “How Did You Paint That? One Hundred Ways to Paint Landscapes, Volume 1” and “How Did You Paint That? One Hundred Ways to Paint Still Lifes and Florals” as well as feature articles in International Artist and Southwest Art.
Longing to say something with my life and convey my message through watercolor, oils and mixed media, I want to leave traces of myself through art that will outlast me. I feel so blessed to be able to do something I love so much”.
