Peggy was born in Phoenix, Arizona and spent her youth traveling the world as the daughter of a career Air Force Master Sargent. Her art education began with painting lessons at age ten and includes architectural studies at Arizona State University, classes at three New England art schools and painting workshops with several admired artists. She and her husband, Steve, lived for thirty years on the east coast near Boston while raising their family before ultimately deciding that they would like to return to their western roots. They chose to live in Taos, New Mexico, on five acres of pasture land in the heart of the valley. Peggy is inspired daily by her surroundings, her love of outdoor adventure, and the Southwest’s exotic beauty. Her work has been included in exhibitions at the Albuquerque Museum, the Millicent Rogers Museum, the Museum of the Southwest and the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum and was featured recently in “Southwest Art”.
